Turning carbon markets and green policy into livelihoods.

The context

The policy problem.

Uganda's green economy and carbon markets are emerging but need considered policy development, capacity building, and public awareness — including how carbon credits can improve livelihoods for women in agriculture and smallholder communities.

How CeLPII contributes

Our contribution.

We anchor multi-stakeholder platforms like the Carbon Markets Association Uganda (CMAU), publish practitioner-facing guidance, and host climate clinics that connect legal expertise with the realities of project developers, regulators, and community groups.
