Creative Economy

Helping creators earn a living from their craft.

The context

The policy problem.

Uganda's creative sectors — film, music, fashion, and digital content — are growing, but too many creators still struggle to make a sustainable living from their work. Rights administration, access to finance, and enforcement gaps limit the sector's economic contribution.

How CeLPII contributes

Our contribution.

CeLPII produces white papers, convenes Roundtable Policy Talks, and partners with creative-sector alliances to reform the way intellectual property, cultural heritage, and creative finance work in practice.
